Dear Reader
During the years the various co-morbidities were striking the knee was not quiet. It was acting up. And getting worse. Considering my medical condition at the times of my visits to orthopedists for possible knee replacement, I was considered too high a surgical risk.
I finally gave up on the gym and put my energies into pool exercises. I wish I had discovered the water years earlier.
As my general medical condition improved and the knee worsened my primary/cardiologist worried about my balance.. He was more fearful that I would fall. He, better than anyone, knew my medical condition and said he would clear me for knee replacement. After a long and involved conversation, an appointment with the Orthopdedist was set. And soon after, surgery was upon me.
Then started what I considered to be on ongoing recovery from hell.
